The Spa Métropole by Givenchy is a veritable beauty spot where elegance starts from within.

For over 20 years, Givenchy has chosen only the most exceptional of locations for its spas. So it came as no surprise when the classic French house opened the Spa Métropole by Givenchy inside Monaco’s famed Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo in April 2017, an iconic address where Mediterranean charm meets sophisticated luxury.

Inside this Belle Epoque palace dedicated to the finer pleasures in life, the luxury brand has crafted an oasis of elegance and indulgence. The setting is pure Givenchy: modern and sophisticated, with marble finishes, light tones and a serene ambiance. The ten treatment rooms further reflect Givenchy’s haute couture origins; the white embossed walls inspired by the intricate lace detail found on its sumptuous designer gowns.

The rituals are designed to reflect founder Hubert de Givenchy’s philosophy: rather than offering simple, one-dimensional treatments, guests are treated to fully-immersive experiences, where the priority is to release their inner elegance. Signature Treatments include the Le Soin Noir Renaissance Intégrale face and body (120 minutes), a ritual that draws upon the regenerative power of algae sourced from the depths of the ocean. The “Signature” Métropole Treatment by Givenchy (90 minutes) is a ‘just for you’ bespoke ritual that uses targeted treatments and next-generation products.

Away from the menu of treatments and massages, the “Heat Experience” package offers guests access to the sauna, hammam, caldarium, ice fountain and sensory showers, while the on-site gym boasts state-of-the-art equipment. Guests can also take advantage of a Givenchy beauty boutique with makeup, skincare and fragrances, and a Pedi:Mani:Cure studio.

Here, at the Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo, the luxury brand has added its name to a stable of stars, most notably Joël Robuchon who oversees all three of the hotel’s restaurants (two of which are Michelin-starred) and the late, great Karl Lagerfeld, who designed the hotel’s Odyssey space, an alfresco delight that includes a swimming pool, art installation, and dining area.

In addition to its luxurious rituals and massages, this sports session delivers the results of a traditional one and a half hour gym session in only 20 minutes, using muscular electrostimulation.
