PRINCESS RULES THE WAVES

Year on year, Princess Yachts Monaco manage to showcase some of the most beautiful sub-40m yachts at the greatest Superyacht show on earth – The Monaco Yacht Show. Out of the 125+ vessels on display, the award-winning Princess M Class 35m, and recently launched Princess 75MY, are sure to impress the hundreds of thousands of well-heeled visitors to Port Hercule this 27th-30th September.

The Plymouth-based yard have yet again surpassed expectations with their exquisite offerings, showing the continual evolution of the yard’s capabilities to perform on a world stage. Their famed attention to intricate detailing and use of deluxe materials highlight the outstanding craftsmanship which has seen the order books at the yard consistently filled over the past few years, as well as a vast upward trajectory in profits, something the British boat building industry has been suffering to achieve for years.

Taking design cues from the multi-award winning Princess M Class 40m, the 35m is sure to take centre stage on Quai Kennedy. Incredible to experience is the sheer vastness of her interior and exterior spaces, promoting her intelligent architectural design. Be immediately impressed by the generously sized swim platform, leading up on both Port and Stbd to the Main Deck aft dining area. Serviced by an exterior bar, this is the perfect place for evening aperitifs before moving into the deliciously designed dining area, an al fresco feel provided by the folding balconies on each side.

Forward of the Main Deck is the full-beam, en suite, Master’s suite, generously proportioned and beautifully designed. This is where Princess really punches above her weight. This does not feel like a 35m yacht. Additional guests can enjoy the same level of comfort on the lower deck, 5/6 cabins all perfect for private relaxation.

The sundeck of the Princess M Class 35m is the piece de resistance, and suits every kind of sunbather; the aft showcases a large Jacuzzi with room for sunbeds looking out to sea. Central is a further dining area, ideal for sunset BBQs – provided by the sundeck BBQ and bar area – with a retractable roof in case of adverse weather.  Forward of the bridge is another sun lounge area and seating, perfect for a bit of privacy and beautiful seascape views. This is a yacht that must be experienced.

Moored alongside her, showing the talents of the Princess Yard in any scale, is the also award-winning Princess 75MY. Agile and efficient, this is the perfect vessel for cruising between islands and sheltered coastlines.

Accommodation is found on the lower deck, both the Master and VIP cabins being full beam. Bathed in light from the large windows, it oozes luxury and comfort.

A beautiful feature of the dining area on the main deck is the full length window on the Port side, allowing for a fascinating view over dinner. The galley location is social, and perfect for entertaining in the living room.

For those who enjoy the sunshine, the flybridge offers a plethora of space to sunbathe, either on the large sunpads in the cockpit, or forward of the bridge.

Princess Yachts Monaco are perfectly located on Port Hercule year round, and can provide expert advice on choosing your next yacht, from new owner to experienced, and from new build to brokerage.
