PORTO MONTENEGRO – A HOME LESS ORDINARY

We’re no strangers to seaside living here in Monaco. There’s just something so je ne sais quoi about it. Which is why we have been such fans of the amazing developments over at Porto Montenegro, watching the growth of new – and quite frankly – stunning coastal residences.

At first sight, waterfront homes with views of superyachts, mountains and a promenade of luxurious shops may arouse suspicions of being inaccessible – both in terms of availability and cost – yet on our most recent visit we found that nothing could be further from the truth.

We needn’t list again the incredible amenities that come with Porto Montenegro living, but the Utopia-like offering has seen a majority of the new residences snapped up even prior to completion. The allure remains, and remarkably, is still available for those who have yet to invest. The ratio of luxury:welcoming continues to be refined, and opportunities are opening up to a greater pool of those wishing to indulge in the kind of lifestyle that living within the Porto Montenegro community can offer.

The Elena Residences are one such opportunity, having been completed late last year; situated along the waterfront promenade and extending all the way from Venice Square through to the Synchro building, the regal Elena wouldn’t go amiss on the Italian Riviera in terms of elegance and style, combined with a traditional neighbourhood ambiance. The nautical-inspired interiors echo those incredible views out to sea, also enjoyed from the onsite pool that is magnificently elevated above the promenade. Sheltered by the surrounding verdant mountains, you’d be hard-pressed to find a residential location quite like it.

If this all sounds heavenly, then there are still available properties within the residence, and, and with it, exclusive membership to the Porto Montenegro Owner’s Club. It is also incredible to think that only one third of what Porto Montenegro has planned for has been completed; so if you miss out on this opportunity, there is so much more to come.

The team have also recently launched their Property of the Month scheme, featuring a residence that is available for immediate occupancy, participation in the rental pool as well as enjoying flexible payment plan options. Every month a different property is highlighted which, should you make the decision to purchase, also entitles you to discounted luxury furniture pacages as well as helicopter transfers from Podgorica and Dubrovnik airports.

It’s a great time to come too, ready for the 2020 summer season; Tribeca Performing Arts Centre is flying over from New York to host the Made in New York Jazz Festival in June; July sees Nigel Kennedy team up with the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra for the Mediterranean Notes Festival, while later in the month is the blockbuster International Fashion Festival; and back again in August is Polo in the Port sponsored by Rolex, held on a pop-up field surrounded by sea and mountains with the finest teams flying in from all over the world.

Living a life less ordinary has never been more exciting.
